Beeblo
Pirate vs. Ninja
I bet this guy loves the movie Weird Science, despite it being older than he is.
Beeblo is some no-good high school punk, and on Pirate vs. Ninja, he sings about the things that 16-year-old boys think about: girls, LiveJournal and pirates.
"Up at Six (Speed Dial)" is a fast-paced romp through what must be a typical day in the life of Beeblo. It's a lot of fun.
Do we need 15 tracks? Sure, if they're all good. They aren't. Eleven would have been fine. Do we really need "Pirate Ninja" and "Ninja Pirate"? At least there is not a song called "This Is a Song." Beeblo is saving that for his greatest hits album. You know how bands always add one new song to those so people have to buy it? Yeah. That's what he is doing.
"My Computer" is a love song directed at his computer. Sure. I love mine, too.
"Livejournal" is one of the best songs ever. I can't stand LiveJournal. I can't stand the caliber of people that use it. I can't stand what they talk about on there. I can't stand that people just don't seem to care that anybody can see what they are talking about. But of course the lonely single men that live in their parents' basements love this stuff. It gives them what they want: 14-year-old girls disclosing the dirt. And that is what "Livejournal" is about. I love this song.
I bet Beeblo is a nice guy. I hope he doesn't fuck up his life in college smoking weed and getting drunk. I would be worried if I were his parents.
